Description
The oldest part of the church is the choir, which is not vaulted and is probably prior to the 12th century. Then is the semi-circular apse that completes it. A third construction phase consisted in erecting a rectangular chapel south of the nave. All these extensions date from the 12th century, just like murals. In the 16th century, the nave was endowed with a paneling. Converted into a barn during the revolution and abandoned, she was recovered from 1850. Mérimée was then interested in the restoration of the church: he extended the nave to the west, built a bell tower and an absidiole adjacent to the chapel south of the choir. The work ended in 1853.
