Description
A Benedictine priory was mentioned in 1365 as part of the Châtellenie of Bergerac. The Romanesque church ends with a vaulted choir in oven ass. There is only one chapel on the left side. The dome is based on large pillars. We find capitals sculpted in this part, representing hippocamples, owls, human faces, snakes, dove with a snake dripping in a chalice, grape clusters, horse heads and fish. A building is adjoining the church, including a round tower dating from the 15th century, probably a vestige of the priory.
